Switching from Elementor to Kadence (Gutenberg)

[ad_1]

Hi everyone,

I have a small live ecommerce that currently runs on Elementor + heavy theme. I made the beginner mistake of initially picking something nice and shiny rather than looking at performances. My website is pretty slow because of that combo and I really want to switch to Kadence (that I learned to use when I built another website).

My issue is, unlike the other website where I started from scratch, this website already has dozens of pages built with elementor and is currently live (so receiving visits, orders, etc.). I set up a staging version of my website to test a few things and it seems like, no matter what I do, most pages break when switching to Kadence / Gutenberg.

So, do I necessarily need to rebuild every elementor page (it’s about to be time consuming) or is there a better approach that I’m missing here?

Thanks!
