Is it possible to temporarily close a website, keep the design and content, but then downgrade to a free plan? I have a wordpress.com website that functions as a personal portfolio. As I am currently a student and not working on my creative work. However, I would like to be able to open the website again at some point. I spent a lot of time designing and setting it up and don’t want to delete the page so this gets lost. But I really need to save some money. Does anyone know if this is possible?

If you do not wish to pay for hosting – convert website to a static website and push to Github pages and host using Cloudflare. Should not cost anything other than the Domain name cost.
