Ok so many others I upgraded my WordPress core (after backups) to 6.4 today, and thought great a nice easy upgrade… now I’m in a world of hurt 🤯
Everything seems to work fine apart from product-category’s! My website is built around product-categorys (www.theretrogenie.com) this has driven me round the bend today!
I think there is some issue between my theme and the WP core upgrade but I’ve tried to rollback, disable and do all the usual wordpress “get your site back” hacks as usual but it looks like Shirley has done me dirty this time
Anyone else experienced anything similar?
Never upgrade without testing on a non-production site.
You never mentioned specifically what your issue was?
The 6,4 update has issues not allowing updates of plugins and themes. Instead of rollback or whatever hacks you are trying, restore your site with your backup. Then wait for the fix coming soon.
Enable debugging so you see the actual error, otherwise you’re flying blind.
