I’ve signed up w Bluehost to use WordPress.org and since I had a blog w blogger I decided I could create my new blog on my own.
I’ve made a few minor changes and saved the info but when I try to change the theme from the default I get the “creating your site” message and the rotating tiles for minutes (10+ and counting).
What trick am I missing?

Create your site? What?
Sounds like a broken theme. Try clearing the browser cache. Or find your error_log file (in your hosting dashboard) and see if anything is in there.
