This is driving me crazy and I’ve tried searching but can’t find anything that fixes this. For one of my WP sites, the Twitter card image does not display the featured image but instead another image that’s on all pages (the header image). This happens for every post I try to Tweet; it always shows that one image, never the featured image I’ve chosen. This shows up in Twitter and the card validator. I’ve tried Yoast SEO, JM Twitter cards, and it keeps happening so it doesn’t seem to be a plugin-specific issue. Is there anything else in WordPress that might be affecting this that I can check? I tried looking at the code too and it looked like the correct image was under the meta property=”og:image” tag. Any ideas what else could be causing this? Or somewhere else to check? I have other sites and they never have this problem. Also: Facebooks cards work perfectly normal. Thanks! ☺️

Edit: It appears sometimes there is no image at all (in the Twitter card). Don’t get it.

I found one post here where someone is dealing with the same issue. There seem to be a solution, but I’m unsure what it exactly means.
“*Just following up to say I fixed it! There was a meta tag linking to the offending image in my header scripts that was doing it. I must have put it there for some reason but have no idea why.*”
