False positives & Undefined offset: 7 wordfenceScanner.php Line: 400

Hi @magefix, thanks for reaching out.

User defined scan pattern usually means the files were hit by your own “Additional scan signatures” added to Wordfence > All Options > Advanced Scan Options that you may need to review. I’m wondering if the PHP error is originating from invalid content here that the scan is unable to ignore or work around, so it might be worth copying any contents in that textarea, saving it in a separate document (so it could be reinstated later) and trying another manual full scan.

Let us know how you get on!
Peter.

Hi @wfpeter , thanks for the detailed response. I followed your advice & checked the “Additional scan signatures” but the section was empty, so I restored the settings to the default values. The problem is now solved since there are no more false-positives listed – much better. Thank you!
