Hello @romain22
I see that you’re running WP rocket on your end, which heavily processes CSS and JS files. Can you get that fully disabled for a test to see if things improve?
Thanks.
Hi Eduard,
Sure. I’ll try and keep you posted.
Thanks,
Romain
i deactivated WP Rocket, emptied all caches but nothing changed…
Hello @romain22
I understand, but I’d need to see the site with that plugin fully deactivated in order to assess how the CSS is structured. Can you do that for me please?
Thanks.
oh sorry… Deactivating it again…
Hi @romain22
Ok, so I see where the problem is. Somehow your elements have been incapsulated in a <strong> tag. That shouldn’t be there.
Could you please export the Customiser settings and send them our way? You can do so via the Customiser -> General -> Manage Options pane. We’ll import them on our setup to see how that got there and offer you a resolution.
Thanks!
Where can I send the file ?
Hi @romain22
Try – [email protected]. Thanks!
Hi @romain22
Ok, I found the issue. For some weird reason, the HTML box has corrupted somehow. It will be needed to re-do the HTML box.
First, take the contents and paste them into a txt file. Then, remove the contents (not element) and save the customiser. And once that’s done, paste the contents back into the HTML element to regenerate it from scratch.
See this video for a detailed overview of the workflow – https://streamable.com/1tjvcj
Let me know if you manage to solve it.
Thanks.
Huge thanks to Eduard who found an issue I would have never guessed.
You’re very welcome, @romain22 🙂
