I have an online business, the first web designer I used ghosted me and never finished the build. The second company I used did finish it aesthetically but didn’t develop features that were to be included, some are there visually but don’t actually work.
Honestly I’m just fed up with the whole process. Is there a course anyone would recommend so that I could manage a bit more of the website myself? Probably tough to say without seeing the backend, but hoping there may be something available.
Secondly, my business isn’t making an income yet so it’s bleeding me dry to have to keep getting features developed that were supposed to be in the build, can anyone recommend freelancers to go with? I just feel taken for a ride by the current company. I’d love to have a designer on retainer but the income isn’t there yet to cover that cost.
I was naive and expected this to be much more functional with less work involved, this isn’t the case and I just don’t know the best foot forward. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
