Why does WordPress feel they have the right to be the one to process my images? This is my own website. How do I prevent this? Am I that confused about how WordPress works? It’s a goddamn plugin. I’m not using a WordPress-hosted site or anything.

Smush is supposed to be good.
I use Tiny PNG, it even has a WP plugin!
