So I am the (unpaid) webdev for my medical practice.
I run a wordpress site and am in the process of moving it into the 2020’s. We have 18 members, each of which need their own page. I’ve tried making a template but it doesn’t show in the ‘edit page’ when I select it as the page type, but shows on the live site with no content.

I’ve tried making a pattern which I add to the new blank page. It shows in the editor but when I edit the pattern (ie add content) on the individual page it updates the pattern across the site.
It’s 2024. It really shouldn’t be this difficult to do templates in WordPress. I’m clearly missing something or is this what is promised in 6.5?
