WooCommerce and Stripe Payments Suspended – Deposits Say Future Date

[ad_1]

Our Stripe/WooCommerce payments account was closed back on June 10th due to being on the Restricted Business List. For some reason, WooPayments has continued processing all customer order payments up until today. All customer payments since June 10th have not been deposited into our account. The customers were charged, but the funds are not being deposited to our business bank account.

All of the transactions have the Deposit Date listed as future deposit. Will we ever receive these funds or are we better off refunding our customers and re-charging them?

Stripe and WooPayments both have no contact phone number. Right now we are stuck and not sure what the best course of action is. Is it Stripe or WooPayments holding our money and will it ever be deposited? What should we do?

We’re writing to let you know that we have determined that your business, **** (account ID: ****), is in violation of the Stripe Services Agreement. Specifically, we are unable to accept payments for certain medical devices, including devices like inhalers, contact lenses, and hearing aids, among others, as mentioned on our Restricted Businesses list. As a result, we will need to close your Stripe account on June 20, 2024. Until then, you can continue processing payments normally, but after this date, your account will be closed and you will no longer be able to accept payments. We will continue making payouts to your bank account until you receive all of your funds.
