Ok i admit it … I simply gave up on this one. I tried Reddit, Google, Code Snippets, ChatGPT, Stack Overflow and many more.
We all now Woocommerce and the SKU. The look, feel and behavior.
I need the EXACT same thing just name it “Position”.
We have many different places where our products are stored (physically) and right now we have sorted the orderprint after SKU. Thats fine but makes the sku’s quite ugly (“Depot1box2-4-7” ) etc.
We need to seperate the SKU and have a extra field where we can add the position.
Problem is all the codes i found was 50/50. Something always didnt work.
It needs to be searchable, editable in both quick edit and normal edit and displayable in the admin product page list.
So how much money does that cost?
