WordPress Blog to Free Site

[ad_1]

Hi, I have a simple blog that is mainly for personal family and friends…very light views. I’m currently paying for a WordPress personal subscription, and I have about 50 simple posts. I won’t be updating the blog after July but would like to have an archive available for future reference. I’ve looked at Blogger, but I’d have to recreate each posts as it looks like there is no longer a migration tool WP –> Blogger. I’ve also looked at creating an HTML version of the blog and posting it on my personal cloud drive, but I can’t find a free option to do that either. Also, I don’t have a WP Plan that supports plugins, so I haven’t been able to do that either.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  1. Host on a free wordpress.com plan, and use the export/import feature to move your pages.

If you can export the pages as html/css/js, you can host for free using a github account.
