I had received an offer from a real estate photography agency. They wanted me to develop websites for their commercial real estate clients and other realtors. Unfortunately, I haven’t heard back from them in a longtime so I assume the offer is off the table.
But that leaves me with a question in my mind. Is it a valid idea to reach out to real estate photography agencies and try to create a partnership with them? They send me the clients that need websites built and I send them a significant cut of the profit.
Is this type of partnership common? Any comments featuring advice or experience is welcomed.

Around me, it is more common to work directly with a real estate agency that pulls listings including their photos from a MLS, IDX, etc.. type service.
Better if you reach out to the estate agencies yourself.
