WordPress Tech Stack

[ad_1]

Hi everyone, I’ve been spending a good amount of hours doing some research and reading through people’s experiences, suggestions, and what not. I know it depends on what kind of websites you’d build for your clients, etc.

I need some suggestions so I could finally decide on my tech stack soon.

I am thinking of doing:

1. A lightweight theme (Kadence? GeneratePress?)

* I am trying to avoid page builders at the moment.
* A custom theme is the plan but not right now as I need to make websites quicker. I prefer little to no-coding.

1. I need some plugins recommendations that have:

* That can make my workflow better. Customisable CSS variables and classes, etc, GSAP animations, (pretty much features/animations/tools). As I intend to make and design websites that aren’t your “typical” brochure-looking ones.

I know there are other things to consider, technically speaking.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated! Doesn’t matter if it’s free or paid.

Thank you!

Little to no coding? Use a page builder.

  2. Lightweight Theme: elementor hello

It’s totally fine to use Elementor Page Builder. I have mutliple websites scoring 90% and even 100% on Pagespeed Insights / A+ on GTMetrix that I’ve built with it.

You can use “the plus addons” for Elementor Plugin to get a nice additional set of elements.
