WP Staging Site Links refer back to real site not staging site

I created a staging site with WP Staging for our company’s website, but a number of the links on the homepage of the staging site take you back to the real site and out of the staging site. I would think the whole website should have been created as a staging site, but a lot of the links do not stay in the staging area.

Any thoughts on how to fix this or what could be the cause?
