the 1000 subscriber limit wouldn’t apply since the “Free up to 1,000 subscribers” is only under the MailPoet Sending Service option.
Yes, the 1,000 subscriber’s limit also applies if you are using a third-party sending method.
In that case, you could sign-up for a Creator plan. Here you can check the different plans and their prices (which are related to the number of subscribers on your site):
