Okay, so I’m do a lot of content entry for a WP site but am not the admin. I previously worked through a staging version of the site via WP to enter content. The site has since launched and entry has transitioned from the staging WP site to the actual site’s WP dashboard.
I had 2FA working just fine on the staging site, but it never appeared when I made the switch over to the other site and i couldn’t personally set it up, WP always blocked me from doing so. The admin figured this would resolve itself when the 2FA deadline came. But, it has not, and now it seems setting it up is in the admin’s court, because I have no access anymore. So, I’m just wondering for the admin’s sake, what do they have to do to resolve this? Neither of us are sure what the next steps are to get my 2FA set up and my access re-established.

Depends entirely on what plugin you’re using for 2FA (since it isn’t part of WP core).
