Hi everyone,
First of all, please accept my apologies if this is in the wrong place or in the wrong form. It’s my first posting here, and I am not an expert at all. I wonder if anyone can help me with the following:
I deactivated the cache enabler plug-in in my wp installation, and only a fraction of a second later my whole site ran into a 301 redirection loop. This also means that I cannot access my wp dashboard. I am locked out completely. I’ve checked everything that is recommended in case of 301 loops, of course including deleting local browser cache, site name issues in both php database and htaccess file, i’ve tried deactivating all other plugins by renaming the plugins folder – but as it appears, cache enabler had saved a static html file with that 301 redirection loop before it stopped working.
I have NO knowledge of php though, but I assume the static content generated by cache enabler needs to be somewhat located, identified and deleted to resolve this issue. But I have no clue for which files exactly and in which directory exactly I have to look. Anyone got some hints for me? Thanks in advance!
Hendrik
