4.6.8 causes cache issues with WP Rocket

[ad_1]

Astra 4.6.8 is causing a caching issue with WP Rocket (3.15.9).

In File Manger you can find WP Rocket caches the sites categories and pages in hierarchical architecture ordered folders and files. So Post Parent Categories are top level folders > subcategory folders reside with within those > (and so on) > cached page/post content resides within those folders respectively.

With Astra 4.6.8 enabled, I’m finding cached page files residing in both their respective parent category folder AND their respective subcategory folders, so a duplicate cache of the page, but each with a different timestamp. It’s been cached twice, and the site doesn’t know which to serve to the visitor. I’m also finding subcategory folders residing out of hierarchical sequence. Subcategory folders are being stored in the same folder as their respective parent category folder, rather than just within the parent category folder.

Have rolled back to 4.6.4 to resolve.
