403 error – how to delete images with bad exif?

[ad_1]

I am uploading a legacy gallery and using exif to set alt/title and caption information. I am using a CSV with an exif tool so can’t allow caption commas. I thought I would be clever and use html code: and I see (after posting) that adding it as code has just written a ‘,’
🙂

,

I uploaded the images with the new exif data and now get a “403 Forbidden” error msg.

Searching the forum I find other references to the use of ‘&’ and the hassles it causes. My bad (in some sense) but the question is…
how to delete those images?

I have deleted images from another gallery and no problem.

This is the only change (the &) I have made so diagnosis seems clear but…
a solution?

Thank you.
