I installed JetPack’s Vault yesterday and it immediately cratered the site. Error 500s.I can rename the Plugins folder in file manager, then it will let me log into the dashboard. Of course there are no plugins. I can then put the folder name back to “Plugins” and log back into the dashboard. I can see the plugins, though they’re disabled, of course. I can enable plugins like Yoast or SimpleSSL. If I try to enable Woocommerce, I get Error 500 and the problem starts over. If I click the Permalinks link on the dashboard, I get the 500.
I removed and reinstalled JetPack last night. It says it can’t reestablish the connection to her WordPress account. I am absolutely baffled. .htaccess has nothing in it but some references to SpeedNinja. I’ve dug around for hours on this. Please help.
Solution: Boost PHP memory to 256MB. I don’t understand how, but that solved it.
