502 Timeout Error When Filtering via Media Type

[ad_1]

I’m helping out with a website that has around 20K media files, and while trying to filter files via media type, I’m getting a 502 error. I spoke to the host and while they did some upgrades to the database and edited some scripts on their end, I’m still having the same issue. I know that a huge part of the problem is that there are over 20K files, which is probably what’s causing the timeout errors. I’ve tested it on smaller filter samples (like documents from Sept 2022, where I know there’s only 1 document), but I’m getting the same error.

So the question is: how do I get around this? Are there plugins that could help with this? I did some basic searches before posting here, but didn’t find anything useful. Any suggestions?

TIA!

  1. Disable all plugins and go from there. Also try to use the plug-in (as the only one activated) “query monitor”. If nothing else helps, more RAM does
