6.6 introduces an in-line display:flow-root on Gutenberg’s .is-root-container

While it’s not the worst to fix (yet another !important), it’s a site-breaking change for me on editor level (I prize myself on developing fully customised 1:1 editing experiences for clients.)

In the past my work would tend to be ‘upgrade’-proof, but 6.6 is proven to be very demanding.

Is there complete overview of changes like these? The docs on make.wordpress aren’t helpful.

    TRAC: https://core.trac.wordpress.org/query?group=status&milestone=6.6

Post regressions on TRAC and they’ll fix it for you, without needing `!important`.

  2. We are seeing similar issues. Mainly when hyperlink styles. My boss put together a Jura story with over 20 subtasks to fix on our agency site. All staging of course.
