A button does not function the same way for all pages.

Hello, I have been trying to help a friend fix some bugs (mainly HTML/CSS) on their WP site, which non-devs have put together. I have some experience with web development, but not in WP, so I am learning on the go. After sorting a few issues, I came across a faulty behaviour of a button on one of the footer widgets.

I corrected it in the widget HTML code block, considering it an easy fix of a few lines of code. However, the button acts differently on the landing page than it does on other pages (where it is as I set it to be). It seems like the button on the landing page is rendered from a different code because the code is slightly different when I inspect it. Interestingly, if I change anything else in the widget (e.g., a text field), it works as intended on all the pages.

As someone relatively new to WP, I am left confused by this behaviour. All the “elementor” site-building is something I am not familiar with and there could be something I am missing. I cannot crack this, so I am, asking for some advice.
