Hello everyone!
I am a total beginner to wordpress. I am looking at it as a new hobby with the potential to maybe make it a side business (if possible).
What I’m looking for is some good instructional vidoes and articles.
Should I just stick with the word press site or are there other resources that I should look at?

If you want to start a blog, WordPress is the best option. Not wordpress.com but wordpress.org
You need to buy a good hosting and domain name. You can check out YouTube for tutorials on this.
Have you finalised any topic or niche for your website? If not then you need to do that before buying a domain name.
Do some ‘keyword research’ to finalise on at least 10-15 initial blog posts and then start writing.
You can follow YouTube channels like WPcrafter, Miles Beckler and Income school. Theyre good for beginners.
