A new REACT based UI for WooCommerce

Hey!

I've been tinkering with WooCommerce for a while now, and I've often felt that the default store management interface could be more intuitive. So, over the past few months, I've been working on something that I hope might improve the experience.

I just soft-launched StoreUI a few days ago. It's a SaaS platform that connects to the WooCommerce store via the REST API and offers a new user interface with some unique features. The idea is to make managing your store more straightforward and efficient.

What's crazy is that in less than four days, people from 32 countries have checked it out.

I'm sharing it here because I'd love to get some honest feedback from the community. There's a live demo on the site if you're curious to see how it works.

I'm genuinely interested in hearing your thoughts before going any further. What do you think about the current WooCommerce UI? Do you feel there's room for improvement? If you take a look at StoreUI, I'd appreciate any suggestions or critiques you might have.

  1. Hi!

I can’t comment on the product itself, but I see some issues with the website.

There is a typo in “Supercharge Your WooCommere Store”. (WooCommere vs WooCommerce).

It’s also very obvious that whole “Trust their words” section is fake – fake reviews, fake companies and fake avatars. Even if it wouldn’t be fake, it’s certainly not “world’s leading companies and brands”. The whole site read to me like ChatGPT-powered buzzword site.

  2. What an absolutely brilliant idea. Wish I had thought of it.

Does it work with other WooCommerce plugins, like if a plugin adds a tab to the settings page?

  3. I’ve got a few comments, both on the product and it’s features.

    * I think your starting price for an unkown product of unkown longevity, is high, you should give some incentive for people to actually try out/use your product over other more established paid PIM solutions.

    * The demo you offer seems to be for everyone at once? There was a bunch of stuff already in there and it didn’t really offer any option to actually try your product.

    * It’s difficult to find some of your more important features (like the packingslip and PDF invoicing) settings, I’ve yet to find them after going through all the options the demo offers.

    * You are severely lacking any type of bulk editing (which is what usually pulls people towards PIM solutions the most)

    * The options seem lacking, so far it seems you are only offering 2 features that aren’t in the base WooCommerce kit, which is the packing slips and PDF invoices. Both features are premium features for WooCommerce yes, but there are good options available that provide the functionality for either a comparable monthly price or for a higher (but worthwile) one-off price.

    * currently there is just not enough for me to really want to use your plugin. Though it could be attractive to multi-site owners/clients that aren’t too tech savvy (though I feel your dashboard doesn’t really simplify useability that much as most settings you can adjust in the dashboard are just 1 to 1 copies that you could also just adjust on your settings page. It does look a lot more slick and modern, however.)

  4. 1. What happens if I want to add a product in bulk? Are you working on adding integration to plugins such as wp all import to do bulk import?

    2. How about custom fields for products? It seems I can’t see anything there
