I have a WordPress site that seems to be getting spam attacks every few hours.
Yesterday at 4pm I had over 160 views in about 15 minutes on a specific page of my site (insights page), 95% of the views seem to be from China, with some of the views or users clicking into a post on that page. See image below. there also seems to be a funny outbound url at isn't on the page at all.
Then today at 8am I seem to have around 120 views in about 15 minutes on the same page with a few clicking into the same post. All from Australia. The same outbound URL comes back today.
Normally I would get around 30 – 50 site views a day so 200 in about 15 minutes seems very odd. Im worried it seems to be some sort of attack.
Is this a spam attack ? and if so is it normal or should I be implementing prevention steps ? and if so what actions should I take.

Usually scanner bots. If you have a firewall like Cloudflare or Jetpack, do not worry
Connect Cloudflare, geoblock Asia and turn on some performance optimizations while you’re in there for fun. Your problem will be solved for free in 5 minutes!
