I tried The Events Calendar years ago, and decided to use OnEvent instead. This week I tried TEC again, since OnEvent stopped working, and it looks like some part of an old TEC event is stuck in the database. It doesn’t show up in TEC’s list of events, but its still coming up. It came up when I browsed to /events. Its been there all along apparently. When I moved the TEC URL to //events-calendar, the ‘thing’ came with it. It persists even after TEC is deactivated and uninstalled. Is there a way to complete purge data from a previous install, even if its from years ago?
