A way to achieve this in WordPress?

I found this great website and love the way there’s an ‘intro’ to the site (not sure of the technical term?) but when the site loads there’s a yellow splash page with some text then it switches to the actual homepage.

Is there a way to achieve this ‘intro’ on WordPress?
