\[I’m a developer by profession. I intend to use WordPress as a tool of itself. I won’t be developing new tools\] I’m a developer who has been tasked with grokking WordPress, with no particular immediate goal in mind.
1. From the documentation’s main page it seems like a tree of learning. Is there an A-Z sequential guide to the documentation available?
2. I’m partway through the “Getting Started” page and I don’t know if I can withstand the ‘write-for-all-users style for the entire way, respectfully I’m just not the target audience. Is there a more professional comprehensive guide available?
\[…..did the getting started guide just suggest I use google for help?\] [ad_2]

Covers things for developers.
It really depends on what you actually need to do. Honestly you’re better off just jumping and figuring things out for yourself, and if you get stuck, then consult the Codex or the Developer site.
