I have elementor pro version 3.1.0 installed while the regular elementor plugin on the same website is active and running the lastest version 3.20.3. However, I am not getting an option to update elementor pro to its latest though.
now, every time i activate the older version elem pro, it brings the website to a fatal error. This might be due to a version incompatibility issue between the 2 elementor plugins. how can I update elementor pro to its latest version to ensure compatibility without risking any disruptions to the previous work on the website?

Sounds like you havent paid your renewal for Pro version for a very long time. Pay for renewal and you should be able to update it.
I just took ownership of this site. The previous guy doesn’t seems to pay license. Would it be a possibility to upload a free version of Elementor Pro?
