Our plugin adds the last modified date of the recently published/updated post as the last modified date for the taxonomies in the sitemap. If it isn’t doing so on your end, please make sure that you are using the latest version of our plugin:
If the issue persists even with the latest version, please share some details such as the plugin you are using to create the custom taxonomies and the post type you are using them for.
