When I try to add a post on the website, the page ends up loading, but then a message pops up that says ‘page not responding.’ I have tried different browsers and even changed laptops, but it still doesn’t work. It works on my mobile, but not on the laptop.

Deactivate all plugins. If it then works, then one of the plugins is the cause. Reactivate them one by one to find the culprit. Then contact the plugin’s developer.
If it doesn’t work despite deactivating all plugins, then you most likely have a nonsense theme or nonsense hosting.
You can also look in the browser’s console (right-click -> Inspect). Perhaps there are some errors that might be a clue.
