I would like to mention that WooCommerce allows me to add a checkbox where I can enable an option to receive emails about product information or discounts, or news. The detail is that this checkbox has disappeared, and I can’t find a way to restore it.
I have been researching, and I see that Mailchimp could help me solve this problem and replace it. Could you tell me how I can add a checkbox so that users who enable the option accept to receive emails about product information or discounts?
The checkbox used to say: “Me gustaría recibir correos electrónicos exclusivos con descuentos e información de productos” (I would like to receive exclusive emails with discounts and product information).
Unfortunately, I don’t have any evidence of how it used to look with the checkbox, but it was among the payment methods and the message where it links to the privacy policy.
Can I add a similar option to that, and if so, what would be the steps to do it? Can I link the checkbox with WooCommerce? If so, how do I add it to my checkout page? Is the information I am going to put in the same plugin so that it is shown to users? I also want to mention that I only want to add the checkbox without affecting the settings already made.
