Brand new to wordpress and am currently trying to add new portfolio pages to someone’s website. Their previous portfolio items have some text on the right, images on the left, and a featured image which appears on their home page. Often the featured image is also the same image shown on the left of the page when you click into the item.
Right now I’ve added the text and the featured image, but when I try to add an image to an item it either only wraps to the top or bottom of the text, and I can’t move it to the left or right, or I try and align it using the text and media column, which just makes the image look super small and nothing like the pages the website already has.
All of the items in the portfolio are categorised as side portfolios in item type, so will the featured images just appear there once uploaded, since they’re not appearing in the previews?
Basically, how do I upload an image to a portfolio page so that it will be big and on the left hand side of the screen, with my text going on the right? I couldn’t find a YouTube video of someone making a specific page like the website I’m trying to align to, but it seems super straight forward in theory but it’s just not working for me.
