hello I am new to wordpress and I can’t figure out a way to add my published articles/writing to the portfolio site I made on wordpress.
I am not talking about hyperlinks, is there any way to uplaod my published work from other sites via url to wordpress instead of having to write my posts all over again.
p.s. sorry this question sounds stupid but I have searched everywhere and didn’t find anything used.

You can add a link to point to a another external page, but you can’t upload content simply by adding a link somewhere. You need to add the content into WordPress using a Post or Page or whatever other types your theme supports.
Check the documentation for your theme. Also watch some beginner videos on how WordPress works – there are thousands of them on YT.
