Adjust search results | WordPress.org

[ad_1]

Hi there,

My Searching settings are as follows: Image/screenshot

I have set “Keyword matching” to “Partial words” so searching for the plural version of a noun will work. Also, I do prefer “OR” as operator because that can inspire the customers to buy things they will not see with the “AND” operator.

However, that gives some inappropriate search results where some search results with whole of the all words are low in the search results (try a search for “gul ballon” (yellow balloon) or “rød ballon” (red balloon).

Is it possible to give boost to search results that contains whole of the words in the search query? So seach results with whole of words are higher than search results with partial of the words?

And is it possible to give boost to search results that contains all (or many) of the words in search query instead of just one?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
