Ads on wrong place and it deform pages

Thanks for reaching out @ildomandatore. If you’ve applied configurations to exclude ads from areas of your site and ads remain active, unfortunately you’ll need to reach out to the product experts over at the AdSense Help Center. We’re limited to Site Kit queries here in the plugin support forums.

While reaching out in the Help Center and awaiting a response, you may also wish to consider switching themes and checking do the same layout shifts occur when ads do appear.

Note also that whether you use Site Kit to place AdSense code on your site, or add your AdSense code manually, this has no bearing on ads being placed. Both AdSense code snippets function the same, meaning you’re likely to experience the same layout shifts and ad placements via both means.

Lighthouse also says your plugin slows down the site.

The ads were having trouble appearing again and the site was lightning fast. I deactivated Adsense from your plugin and the speed was the same. I had the same speed 2 days ago, but in only one of the many tests done.

You can see how fast it is without Adsense. Some time ago, by disabling your plugin, I noticed that the site was even faster. So it wasn’t just Adsense.

Appreciate the update @ildomandatore.

Lighthouse also says your plugin slows down the site.

Lighthouse lists various factors that can impact performance. Any plugin, including Site Kit, that includes features that make additional network requests to other external services can impact performance.

As mentioned in your previous support topics, if you disable Site Kit but don’t activate AdSense manually on your site, it’s expected that your site may show up as having a faster performance, as there are no network requests made to the AdSense network for multiple ads, possibly from different ad networks. If you add AdSense to your site, <span style=”text-decoration: underline;”>whether using Site Kit or not</span>, you will have additional network requests made for each page load on your site. This is normal, and there are many factors that can impact the performance of ads.

Please review this guide on the Site Kit website that explains in more details how Site Kit works with regards site performance.

Note also that if you have Site Kit active with Analytics placed via the plugin, this will also made a network request to analytics.google.com. This may explain further why you see improved performance when you disable the plugin.

I’ll close this support topic as we’re unable to perform any changes to how ads work and perform from the AdSense side. Thank you.
