Advance Fee for Cash on Delivery(COD) OR Partial payment for Order

I am trying to achieve the below

1. Allow COD only till cart amount 700
2. Charge 20 for COD
3. Collect Advance COD of 20 during Checkout ONLY for COD

Configuration

1. Activated COD as Payment method

2.Created TWO Payment method rules

2.1 Rule 1 COD Charges Payment method fees

2.2 COD Disable Disable payment method

3. Partial payment for order

Checkout for Order ABOVE 700 shows Partial payment for order which is NOT EXPECTED

Is there some documentation page where you have provided steps for configuration of various rules as mentioned on the description of this plugin?

It appears I am missing something obvious in configuring this plugin.

Hi,

1, and 2 are configured correctly and they will work

but Partial payment can’t be configured as per your need as that option do not consider COD payment method of woocommerce

it is a separate option for partial payment of order when user will select that option it will allow theme to pay 20 and remaining to be paid afterwards

so if you have cod enabled they can select cod payment option and partial option and can checkout without paying any amount

Oh. That’s sad to know.

These extra steps will make the checkout experience very confusing for the customer.

I was excited when I saw Advance Fee for Cash on Delivery(COD) in the plugin description.

Please see if you can help in providing options as exactly explained in my use case. This is what most store owners would want.

Sorry but the option to conditionally apply cod is part of our pro version we can’t make it available in the free version

No we don’t have any documentation but in pro version the partial payment option also works like the Payment method fee, and Disable payment method option so you can create it and apply rules

and in pro version you will need single rule to achieve your requirement
