I’m the amateur web-manager of a private choir club and got myself into a bit of a mess:
I put a page on private mode, so the public wouldn’t be able to access it. Problem is now, that whenever I try to access the wp sign-in page, in order to sign in, I’m being relayed to the page I put on private mode and I get an Error 404, so that I effectively locked myself out of my homepage…
Advice badly needed. Isn’t there a way to stop the relay so that I can access the sign-in page?
try to access [yoursite.com/wp-admin](https://yoursite.com/wp-admin) and try to login there.
Where’s your backups?
This doesn’t sound right. You should still be able to access the dashboard.
Can you access /wp-admin?
Try using incognito mode.
Try to login using
/wp-login
And see if that works for you instead.
