Hello,
I am managing the back-end of a company website in 7+ languages. When it comes to uploading articles, this is the current workflow being used:
1. write the English version in a .doc file;
2. send out said file to translators;
3. get the translations back;
4. create a back-end article for the English version by using WP-Bakery as a visual builder;
5. duplicate said post in the other languages (linked together via PolyLang);
6. edit copies by copy-pasting translated content inside block modules, one by one;
7. add meta-tags and publish.
Now, this process takes me a total of 10 to 15 hours depending on article length. It’s grunt work I would rather do without. I can’t resort to automated translation as people in charge feel like AI is not doing a good job atm and ask to stick to native speakers to do the job.
Thinking about ways to make my life easier, I was wondering if there is any kind of plug-in that allows to integrate a Word file with the structure of a WordPress article. It would need to be a file where each paragraph can be linked to a declared text block in a target WP file. Said file would then auto-fill upon the source .doc file being filled with translations. Or something like that.
Do you have any advice on similar existing solutions or anything else that might work?
Thanks!
