Target audience: Soccer coaches
Features:
- Sell online courses (thinking of using WooCommerce plugin)
- Community forum for discussions (considering bbPress plugin)
- Blog section for soccer coaching content
Questions:
- Which WordPress.com pricing plan would you recommend for my needs?
- Are WooCommerce and bbPress suitable plugins for what I want to achieve? Any alternatives I should consider?
- I noticed these plugins are listed as free. Is this correct? Are there any hidden costs, especially transaction fees with WooCommerce?

You will need the Entrepreneur plan for setting up WooCommerce and bbpress. No hidden costs. You can use your own payment gateway like Stripe, PayPal etc these payment gateways have transaction costs. If you need help with finding a theme for soccer coaches check skt themes for the same.
I’d advice you to not use wordpress.com unless you really have to. Almost any host will be cheaper than that.

This would cost you somewhere around $899 for the whole year, including WordPress, woocommerce If there is a subscription, hosting and development if you hire a freelancer. Agencies will charge you even higher.
