After setting up Cloudfare, how do I verify it’s caching my site correctly?

[ad_1]

Hey all, I believe I successfully set up Cloudfare yesterday. Nothing seems to be broken or slowing and my WAF rules are already working.

I did put in the cache everything rule. How can I verify the caching is working as expected?

  1. Visit site which is supposed to be cached and open “Inspect element” in your browser.

Move to a Network tab and keep it open while reloading the page. You will see a list of static files which were loaded.

Click on the 1st item in the list, most of the time it will say the name of the site you are on and look for Cf-Cache-Status under the “headers” tab. It should say “HIT” next to it. Or False, if caching doesnt work.

Or something else. Depends on your setup. HIT however means page is cached.
