This is related to two problems which occurred when transferring the website to wordpress which were unexpected. The issues are as follows:
1: the SSL certification is failing and we’re not getting a status 200. We think the current issue is that since the website is in multiple languages, and users get redirected to another version of the website and this is generating a bad url. We think the root cause of the problem lies with the language plugin we’re using for the page.
2: The second problem is the permalinks generated via page-id.
We have had to resort to trial and error to fix the issue at this point so it’s impossible to say how long the issue is going to persist so we are looking for some advice from someone who has a better understanding of wordpress.
