  1. I think there is no perfect solution but I often recommend they set up a CF account themselves and grant access to our team. Many registrars also support delegation so I make sure we get delegated access not just a PW shared over email.

    Personally I would never change my NS based on one vendor need so I’ve stopped asking clients to do that for our services.

  2. Yes, I recommend having all clients point their NS at my cf, so I can manage dns and have easy access to make requested changes. Avoid things like GoDaddy annoying af 2fa code entry for every single change occurrence.
