It says in the stripe documentation that “A valid WordPress user is required to save a payment method.” and that “Save Card” check box will not appear unless a customer is logged in. Is there a way to allow unregistered customers to save their card info if they are opting to create an account during checkout?
The “Save payment information to my account for future purchases ” option will only appear for logged-in customers, which is correct since you need an account to save this information. There’s currently no native way to allow registering for an account and saving CC info at the same time, though maybe you can find a developer to build custom code that would support this.
Having the option to set up an account and save this info at the same time could be a nice feature suggestion. though.
