At the moment, there’s no built-in way to allow other user roles to edit and activate snippets but if you use a plugin that allows you to edit user roles (for example: WPCode adds 2 custom capabilities you can assign to other roles without having to give them access to anything else.
The 2 custom capabilities currently available are:
– wpcode_edit_snippets – this one allows users to add or edit snippets, but not activate them. This is useful if you want others to be able to add snippets but still review them before activating.
– wpcode_activate_snippets – this one allows users to also activate/deactivate snippets.
Bruh… the fastest and useful answer i’ve received in a free plugin…
