Anchor links do not work in Safari browser

[ad_1]

Hello, everyone. I faced the problem of site functionality in the Safari browser. My site has a main landing page with several sections and anchor links for them from the main menu and two separate pages with the same anchor links in the menu with a return to main page section anchor. In Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge everything works without problems. But in Safari 16.5.1(18615.2.9.11.7) version on MacBook Pro 2021 I have noticed that the anchor link has seemed to be hung up somewhere in the cash and after the first time I clicked the anchor link, it remains for any other section from the menu. If I look into the developer tool/ page inspect/network results, I see that code of the link is correct, but during the click some kind of redirect happens and the browser gets information about the old link, with the old anchor. I tried to clean the Safari browser cash, as well as the WordPress site cash. It did not help. I also tried to change links and add “/” before the anchor, my links now look like , but it did not help as well. Could you, please, tell me how to solve the problem? Looking for any advice.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
