Anonymous Fox – 6 Months later and Google Search Console Cleanup

[ad_1]

Still trying to recover a bit from the anonymous fox hack. I can’t find any evidence of it still out there. (Moved hosts, dumped everything except my database, manually cleaned up stuff, purchased malware scanner that does daily scanning).

At the time I went into google search console and requested removal of a bunch of /\[random 4 letters\]/file-name.php page entries. I think also requested a full re-index of my site, supplied a new robots.txt and sitemap.

Now the removal of those pages has expired (I guess it was for 6 months only) and they are appearing again in search console. The path doesn’t resolve on my website, google search console says they aren’t in its index but somehow they are still showing in the search console. I don’t know what to do. I know this is kind of a google question but because of the root cause, I’d imagine many have dealt with this.

What the hell can I do to put this behind me?
